Super Scramble Saturday Ahead for Cinco de Mayo and more important Mothers Day

Submitted by USA1001 on Wed, 05/05/2010 - 08:34

Fly in or out of any of the three (3) destinations listed to be awarded double flights hours for all flights flown.  Oh yes and this does not substitute for not remembering Mothers Day for your Mother or Wife, May 9th.  Why, because I just reminded you.  You must fly on VATSIM for these hours to count.  What a Scramble I have put together for this week that will please many people, I hope anyway.

Valid Destinations: RJAA to PANC (Must fly the route during that events time) KSEA, and MMMX 1400-0200z.

Event Times:1400 to 0200z

First off, a major event planned for those who like to cross large bodies of water with ATC from Del to Ground. DATELINE DASH sponsored by Anchorage ARTCC - Come take part in VATSIM history. For the first time EVER the Tokyo FIR and Anchorage ARTCC are working together to provide full ATC service across the International Date Line, from checking in with Tokyo Delivery to receive your oceanic clearance to Anchorage Center providing you vectors for the CAT III approach into a soggy and foggy Anchorage. We are willing to bet you never have and will never again experience anything like The 2010 Date Line Dash
Dateline dash Website and Sign-up Event Time: 1400-0000z

Next United Virtual is headed into Seattle between 1800-2200Z however as of today nothing actually posted in there forum about it. We will honor it but times for you are 1400-0200z

Finally we planned to head to Mexico City for the scramble for Cinco de Mayo 1400-0200z. This is the first time the scramble would have visited Mexico City, so we are continuing to use this. So one could fly Seattle to Phoenix to Mexico City and back or on to Houston.

Feel free to set-up a group flight if you wish by using our forums to show more solidarity.  Take your pick, three different events in play this Saturday . Each event will award you double hours for participating.
Please email me schmitt012003@yahoo.com what you flew so I can award hours appropriately.
