Saturday Scramble at KORD, March 13, 2010

We are going to United's big hub, Chicago that is. Not the first time, but always a fun time. This is the largest of the United Airlines hubs, and the headquarters as well.
Chicago's O'Hare International Airport is the nations and world's second busiest airport with over 76 million passengers going through O'Hare, and over 2,600 aircraft operations per day! What a scheduling nightmare that must be; schedule nothing, just think of the traffic jam on the tarmac! Also, the airport is named after a pilot awarded the Medal of Honor in WWII. US Airways uses Terminal 2

ORD, being the largest hub for United Airlines, gives us hundreds of flights to choose from. And management has scheduled many. You can fly a short hop from Indiannapolis or a 16 hour flight to Pudong China, and many flights in between. You can fly as a Regional First Officer, Chief Master Command Captain, or anything in between. Check the VAFS table for specifics, and if your flight is not listed, let me know and I will get it included.
NOTAM: Runways have changed: The old 9R is now 10 and the old 9L is now 9R, and there is a new 9L open. Make sure your navdata reflects this information.
Don't forget, Double Hours for flying the Saturday Scramble
