Saturday Scramble at KIAH January 2, 2010
Saturday Scramble goes to Houston to begin 2010. George H W Bush Intercontinental Airport is the second largest airport in Texas.

With over 43 million passengers in 2008, it is the eighth busiest airport in the United States. Houston is home to the headquarters of Continental Airlines, the newest member of the Star Alliance. Bush Intercontinental is Continental's largest hub, with an average of over 700 daily departures. more info here.
Of course, KIAH is named after the 41st president of the United States, George H W Bush. He was also a WWII pilot who was awarded the Distinguised Flying Cross, three Air Medals, and the Presidential Unit Citation. He was shot down on a mission bombing the Bonin Islands in the Pacific. More infomation can be found here.
The USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77), named after the president, is the final Nimitz class supercarrier. It was completed this year, 2009, and will serve the United States for about the next fifty (50) years. More information can be found here.)
We use Terminal A.

Now that Continental is part of the alliance, we have choices. You can fly to just about any domestic destination you desire. You can also fly Europe, Asia, Mexico, the Carribbean and Canada. In other words, we are not limited by this facility as in the past. Check VAFS for flight details. If you don't find the route you want, just give a shout and we will get it inserted.
